Silk and Steel Firearms Training, LLC is an all-female firearms training company dedicated to helping beginning women shooters learn how to safely handle firearms and shoot accurately with confidence.

First, we are NOT combat-tactical-practical or advanced shooting instructors. We specialize in introducing new or less experienced women students to safe gun handling and have helped train over 500 women, mostly brand new shooters, in the fundamentals of safe, accurate gun skills.
For some women, learning a technical, potentially dangerous skill like gun handling from a man can be a tense and uncomfortable experience. Women teach and learn and respond to instruction in a slightly different manner than men. Not better, not worse, just different. Many women prefer to learn gun skills from other women and this phenomenon is exploding across the country.
We do not advocate avoiding quality instruction from any male instructor. The more knowledge, the better/ But, if you are female and feel more comfortable starting out with someone that can relate to your apprehensions first hand, that's where we can help.
Personal Firearms Safety Trainer
Diana Peck, owner and President of Silk and Steel Firearms Training, LLC., is NRA certified as an instructor for rifle, pistol, and shotgun, and certified as instructor by The Well Armed Woman. She has helped over 500 youth and lady shooters learn to enjoy shooting safely.
Diana Peck is a NRA certified instructor for rifle, pistol, shotgun and personal defense inside and outside of the home. As a founding member of Guns and Ladies in San Luis Obispo, CA, she has helped train over 500 mostly new women and youth shooters.
Diana is a graduate of the inaugural instructor's course of The Well Armed Woman, Front Sight Defensive Handgun course, and has trained with Olympic shotgun coach Dan Carlisle and renowned 3-gun champion Keith Garcia. Currently, she is an aspiring amateur 3-gun competitor.
